Description:

Dallas duo LastBornKings’ debut album accomplishes exactly what it sets out to do: high-intensity and high-energy bangers that stick in your head for days. The catchy chorus on ‘Beast is Loose’ and animal-themed violence on ‘P.A.N’ are memorable highs, and LAPAULHEADHUNCHO and Fimp Da Pimp provide brief style-switches to keep the album fresh. The production is pretty standard ominous piano keys and a trap drum kit, but the star of the show is Mythikos and Ghost Prodigy’s flow anyway so it isn’t an issue. They’re all good and well-made, just repetitive. The best part of the album is absolutely the flow and delivery - both artists have great natural voices and an ability to flow over any beat that makes for easy to listen to aggressive music you’ll want to come back to. Perfect for workout playlists or bumpin in the car.
